Bright pineapple and blackcurrant up top with a bergamot lift, then a smoky birch heart that gives Aventus its distinctive dry, almost charred quality. The base is oakmoss, musk and vanilla — clean rather than sweet. It reads expensive, which is the whole point.
The opening is the closest part; the fruity-smoky contrast is unmistakable. The original's famed batch variation means even genuine Aventus bottles differ from each other. Ours is consistent bottle to bottle, slightly sweeter in the heart, and holds the smoky birch longer than most budget alternatives.
8–12 hours on skin with strong projection for the first three to four hours. It works year-round but is at its best in spring and autumn. Two sprays to the chest and one to the neck is the sweet spot.
